Credit Policy Changes in Just 48 Hours
Tenacity is South Africa's largest retail credit provider by customer numbers, and a few years ago, a single credit policy change could take up to a month. Every tweak had to move through analysts, business stakeholders, developers and release teams before it ever reached a customer. With Intuition, that same process now takes an average of 48 hours, and Tenacity's own analytics team handles about 90% of those changes directly, without needing support from Ingenuous.
The result isn't just speed. Tenacity can now split a single risk band into smaller, more precise populations, approving good customers it would once have declined and catching risk it would once have missed. Since going live, the platform has supported more than 10 million applications with zero reported downtime, and Tenacity estimates close to R100m in combined risk and fraud-loss savings over 12 months. Here's how they did it.
